Worship is held at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The service lasts for approximately one hour. We ask that all those attending wear masks* and practice social distancing.
If you don't yet feel comfortable gathering in person, you can watch the service on FaceBook Live every Sunday at 10 a.m. You do not need a FaceBook account to watch. Our services are also broadcast on WIN-TV with a one-week delay.
Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month. We use grape juice in place of wine. Christians of all denominations are very welcome to partake.
Our church is wheelchair accessible and there is ample parking in the parking lot and outside the church.
There is no dress code at FCW, just come as you are.
Hearing aids are available for those who anyone who would like one.
We use screens in our meetinghouse to display announcements and hymn lyrics.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach a member of our Welcome Team (easily recognizable by their name tags) who will be delighted to help you.
Children and young people are always especially welcome at FCW! Children stay with their parents for the first part of our worship service. Each week, our Director of Children's Ministries delivers a special children's message. Afterwards, those aged 4 to 11 are invited to leave for our interactive, child-centric Faith Formation program (similar to Sunday School) which lasts until the end of the service. Children who wish are also very welcome to stay with their parent(s) for the duration of the worship service.
We are delighted to provide a nursery where nursing mothers and parents of wiggly toddlers may bring their children at any time throughout the service.
After the service, all are invited to join us for Fellowship Hour. This is a time for us to gather together to enjoy each other's company and some refreshments. During the summer months, Fellowship Hour is held on the lawn outside the church. In colder months, we gather in Nelson Hall, the brick building across the parking lot from the church. Nelson Hall is also wheelchair accessible.**
*Not required for children under two years of age
**Please note that Fellowship Hour is currently suspended due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
