Below is a breakdown of what you can expect when in-person worship resumes.
Worship is held at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The service lasts for approximately one hour.
Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month. We use grape juice in place of wine. Christians of all denominations are welcome to partake.
Our church is wheelchair accessible and there is amble parking in the parking lot and outside the church.
There is no dress code at FCW, just come as you are.
Hearing aids are available for those who need them and we also offer large print bulletins. We use screens in our meetinghouse to display announcements and hymn lyrics.
Child care is available for in our nursery for babies and children up to four years old every Sunday during the school year. Children and youth in kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome in our Church School every Sunday. Children and youth sit with their parents during the beginning of the worship service. Following the “Children's Moment”, a special short sermon aimed towards kids, they are dismissed to their Church School classes. Everyone who works with our children and youth has passed a background test and has been trained in our Safe Church policy.
After the service, all are invited to join us for Fellowship Hour. This is a time for us to gather together to enjoy each other's company and some refreshments. During the summer months, fellowship hour is held on the lawn outside the church. In colder months, we gather in Nelson Hall, the the brick building across the parking lot from the church. Nelson Hall is also wheelchair accessible.
