School Readiness Grant
First Church Early Learning Center participates in the School Readiness Grant program which provides subsidized child care for children in our three and four-year-old Full-Day class. Care 4 Kids
Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate-income families in Connecticut pay for child care costs. This program is sponsored by the State of Connecticut’s Department of Social Services (also called DSS). To learn more about Care 4 Kids, visit their website. It has information for both parents and child-care providers. You can look at the site to find out how the program works, who is eligible, and more. You can also print the forms you need to apply for the program on the forms page on the Care 4 Kids website.

In partnership with Child Care Aware of America (formerly NACCRRA), First Church Early Learning Center offers fee assistance for active-duty military families.
